Does Isagenix work?

Isagenix does not work, states Dr. Harriet Hall on Science-Based Medicine. The product allegedly aids in weight loss, improves energy and performance, supports healthy aging and detoxifies the body. Dr. Hall concludes that Isagenix fails to deliver any of the alleged benefits.
The article by Dr. Harriet Hall focuses on a study funded by the Isagenix company. Dr. Hall notes that the study provided false data about the calorie intake of the participants that took Isagenix. The calorie data provided in the study does not even correlate with what is written on the label of Isagenix. As such, the comparison with the control group is rendered meaningless, and the study fails to prove that Isagenix works.
