J.D. Byrider only finances used cars because all of its cars available for purchase and financing are used, or reconditioned, cars, according to J.D. Byrider. The company has a "buy here pay here" policy, and its goal is to find a vehicle that fits the customer's budget and transportation needs.
J.D. Byrider states that all vehicles it sells goes through a comprehensive used car inspection, known as the reconditioning process. The inspection focuses on 90 to 120 different items and can cost over $1,000 in parts and labor. The company also ensures that all vehicles available for purchase have a clean title, which is confirmed by a CARFAX vehicle history report.
