Does jasmine tea have caffeine?

By Forinfos - 28/04/2026 - 0 comments

Jasmine tea is considered a low-caffeine tea, with around 5 to 25 milligrams of caffeine per serving. However, the exact amount of caffeine depends on the preparation and the type green tea used.

Green teas generally have less caffeine than black teas but still have more than white teas and other caffeine-free blends. Jasmine green tea varieties often have less caffeine than other green teas because of the jasmine blossoms mixed into the tea. Although jasmine tea is traditionally made by mixing blossoms with green tea, white or black teas are sometimes used instead, which changes the caffeine level of the tea.
