What is the "Jetpack Joyride" app?

"Jetpack Joyride" is a side-scrolling, infinite runner game. The player controls Barry Steakfries, who has just stolen a jet pack from a top-secret laboratory. As the player character is flying rather than running along the ground, there is an additional dimension of difficulty compared to other games in the genre.

"Jetpack Joyride" was released by Halfbrick Studios in September 2011. It was originally released for iOS but has since been ported to other platforms, including Android, Windows, PlayStation and several others.
