Where was JFK born?

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, commonly known as JFK, was born in Brookline, Mass. on May 29, 1917. He was born to Joseph and Rose Kennedy. In 1961, Kennedy became the 35th president of the United States at the age of 43.

Kennedy won the 1960 election by defeating the Republican candidate Richard Nixon. He remained president until his assassination on Nov. 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. Kennedy served in the military during World War II in the South Pacific. After returning to the United States, he held a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953. He then served in the U.S. Senate from 1953 to 1960 before running for president in 1960.
