Who is Jimmy Beaumont?

Jimmy Beaumont is one of the original members of Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners, a doo wop band in the late '50s and early '60s. The Skyliners are perhaps most famous for the singles "Since I Don't Have You" and "This I Swear."

Jimmy Beaumont was born October 21, 1940. He co-wrote both "Since I Don't Have You" and "This I Swear" when he was only 17 years old. After The Skyliners broke up, Beaumont moved on to the soul genre, where he had two singles in the mid-60s. In 2002, The Skyliners were inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
