What jobs can a person get with a social science degree?

Social science majors can expect to find work as a management consultant, an operations director or a marketing manager, to name a few options. In 2013, bachelor's graduates who became management consultants had the highest earning potential, on average, of the social science degree holders.

Other occupations that await them include working as a supply chain analyst, an account manager, a pricing analyst, a data analyst or a business analyst. The United States Department of Labor and Statistics, which keeps a record of job classifications in the U.S., includes among its list of social science occupations as research assistant, sociologist and psychologist.
