Does Kaiser Permanente offer year-round open enrollment?

The annual enrollment period is not open year-round, but rather it is from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, according to Kaiser Permanente, It is possible to join, change or drop Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D during this time.

Also during this time, one can join Medicare Cost plans with Part D coverage or add Part D prescription drug coverage to an already existing Medicare Cost plan. Any change made to a plan during the enrollment period becomes effective on Jan. 1 of the following year, as reported by Kaiser Permanente. Any changes an individual wishes to make to a Medicare health plan is done during the Medicare Advantage unenrollment period, which occurs between Jan. 1 and Feb. 14 every year.
