Kathryn Beich is the brand name of a line of candy bars available to schools and youth groups to sell as fundraisers. The most popular candies in the fundraising line are Katydids and Golden Crumbles.
In 1952, Kathryn Beich started a fundraising program for clubs and churches using candy bar products made by the family's company, Beich's Candy. From 1984 to 2008, the company changed hands several times, and its name was changed to Kathryn Beich Inc. Great American Opportunities, a prominent fundraising company that helps schools and nonprofit organizations with their fundraising efforts, bought Kathryn Beich in 2008 and continues to offer the candy as one of its campaign choices.
