Mary Kay Andrews is an American author whose real name is Kathy Hogan Trocheck. She has used the pseudonym Mary Kay Andrews since 2002 and has written many New York Times best-selling books, including "Save the Date," "Ladies' Night," "Christmas Bliss," "Spring Fever" and "Savannah Breeze."
She used her real name, Kathy Hogan Trocheck, to write 10 mystery novels, including the "Callahan Garrity" mystery series. Kathy Hogan Trocheck has a journalism degree from the University of Georgia and was a reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She covered the murder trials on which she based "Midnight in the Garden of God and Evil."
