How do you keep towels smelling fresh?
By Forinfos - 08/07/2025 - 0 comments
Add ½ cup of baking soda to a load of towels at the beginning of the wash cycle or during the rinse cycle to keep them smelling fresh. People who live in areas with hard water should increase the amount of baking soda to ¾ cup.
Discontinue use of liquid fabric softeners or dryer sheets, which may leave a residue on the towels that doesn't allow them to absorb water properly. Remove towels from the wash immediately after washing and either hang them to dry or place them in the dryer. Repeat the process if towels do not smell fresh when they come out of the dryer or off of the line.
