How do you keep fudge fresh?

Keep fudge fresh for up to 2 weeks by wrapping it tightly in plastic wrap or storing it in an airtight container and keeping it at room temperature. If properly wrapped, fudge can be stored in the freezer for several months.
Wrap fudge in a layer of wax paper and then aluminum foil before storing in the freezer. Allow it to defrost naturally at room temperature. Never store fudge in the refrigerator as the fudge will discolor and dry out. Fudge has a melting point of 240 degrees Fahrenheit, so it will not melt unless the ambient air temperature exceeds that mark.
