What is Kid Pix for schools?

Kid Pix is drawing and presentation software for children. As of April 2015, MacKiev publishes the software, and block licenses for schools are available. It is also available in a standalone retail package.

Kid Pix has been in production since 1990, and several versions are available. The most recent iteration is Kid Pix Deluxe 3D, available for Windows and Macintosh computers.

The software has always focused on allowing children to tell stories through drawings using a set of simple drawing tools as well as the ability to insert sound effects. The more recent versions have added 3D models and the ability to create simple animations.
