What is Kid Pix art?

Kid Pix art is a computer graphics program aimed at 4-8 year olds. The program allows children to create pictures and slideshows using animation, sounds and graphics. The original Kid Pix was created as a bitmap program for the Macintosh in 1989.

Kid Pix is similar to Microsoft Paint and was designed to be simple for children to use. It includes basic tools such as paint bucket, line, square and circle. It also includes features such as the "wacky tool" and "explosive eraser" tool. A deluxe version was released in 1998 for the PC. As of April 2015, the most recent version is Kid Pix Deluxe 3D, which was released in 2011 by Software MacKiev.
