Who killed the Black Dahlia?

Nobody knows for sure who killed the woman referred to as the Black Dahlia, and that is why the case remains unsolved as of 2015. There have been numerous suspects over the years -- Dr. George Hordel, nightclub owner Mark Hansen and landlord Glenn Wolf are some of the suspects.

The 1947 murder of Elizabeth Short in Los Angeles, California was highly publicized throughout the United States, and this led to over 50 people contacting the police department and admitting to the crime. Many other people have accused their own relatives of the crime. As recently as 1991 and 2013, people have accused their own fathers as the culprits, and both accusations have been investigated.
