What is the killer whale's habitat?
By Forinfos - 27/11/2025 - 0 comments
Killer whales prefer cold ocean waters, but they live in oceans throughout the world. The Pacific Northwest and higher Southern Ocean latitudes are the areas most populated with killer whales, according to Sea World. Shallow waters along coasts are common locations for the whales when feeding.
Because the population of killer whales is too massive to live only in cold waters, many live in warmer water areas, such as along the coasts of Florida, Hawaii and the Gulf of Mexico. Though open ocean water is preferred, some killer whales have been spotted in rivers, including the Rhine and the Thames.
