What kind of warranty does Andersen Windows tend to offer?

As of March 2015, Anderson Corporation offers a 20-year limited warranty on glass and 10-year limited warranty on other non-glass window components. A 5-year limited warranty applies to non-glass components of Anderson architectural windows with wood exteriors.

The warranty on Anderson windows covers defects resulting from manufacturing, materials or workmanship. It begins on the date of purchase and transfers to the new owners in the sale of the property. The warranty does not apply to special order glazings, impact-resistant glass, art glass, insulated art glass or any glass that is not factory installed by Anderson. It also does not cover electric window operators or retractable insect screens.
