What kinds of items can be donated to Goodwill pickup?

As of 2015, Goodwill accepts and picks up donations in the form of most types of clothing as well as household items. Donations that are not accepted by Goodwill typically include any household products that have been recalled or have a dubious safety standard.

Some branches of Goodwill may also have their own rules and restrictions regarding the donation of specialty items. This category of items generally includes computers, automobiles, vehicles and mattresses. Aside from pickup service, goods donated to Goodwill can also be dropped off at a physical location or given through a Goodwill-specific donation bin. Donated goods are sold through both physical stores and an online auction.
