What is a King Cane Corso?

A King Cane Corso is a rare Italian dog breed. Known for its large size, muscular build and exceptional skills as a guard dog and hunter, the Cane Corso has a regal bearing and a strong, confident personality.

The Cane Corso requires minimal grooming but needs regular exercise and firm handling to curb its natural protective tendencies and instill good socialization. The breed's most recognizable features are its large head, characterized by a flat forehead and muzzle and almond-shaped eyes and ears that are cropped in erect, equilateral triangles. Cane Corso coats are typically black or fawn and can contain white markings on the chest, toes, chin and nose.
