Are KitchenAid appliances made in the United States?

As of 2015, some KitchenAid appliances are made in the United States. Others include parts that are made in India but assembled in the United States, and still others are made entirely in overseas factories.

The KitchenAid stand mixer, arguably its most famous product, is made in the United States in a factory in Greenville, Ohio. Blenders are made in the same facility, and coffee grinders are assembled in Greenville from parts imported from India. Other KitchenAid products are manufactured in South Carolina, Mississippi, Indiana and Arkansas. KitchenAid is owned by the Whirlpool Corporation, a large appliance manufacturer that owns manufacturing plants throughout the world.
