What is Kodak's EasyShare Gallery?

Kodak's EasyShare Gallery is an online photo service that allows users to share photos and albums with friends and family and add captions to their favorite pictures. Launched in 199, Kodak originally called the gallery Ofoto.
In 2001, the Kodak company acquired the rights to the Ofoto name, which was renamed Kodak EasyShare Gallery in 2005. The gallery not only allowed users to store photos and make customized gifts, but anyone who could view a person's album could order high-quality prints for themselves. In 2012, after Kodak's bankruptcy, Shutterfly offered a bid to buy the company. Later that year, the EasyShare Gallery shut down, and the company transferred all photos to Shutterfly
