What are some of the lakes in Texas?

Texas has more than 200 lakes including the Addicks Reservoir in Houston, Caddo Lake, which extends into Louisiana, Lake Corpus Christi and Davy Crockett Lake. Other lakes include Lake Austin, Lake Houston, Lake Conroe and Fort Phantom Hill Lake.

Fort Phantom Hill Lake is located at the Clear Fork of the Brazos River in Taylor County. The fort from which it is named was active from 1852 to 1853 and again from 1856 until the 1890s. Lake Conroe is a 21,000-acre lake in Montgomery County. Though it bears the city's name, only a portion of the lake is located within the city of Conroe. Davy Crockett Lake is a 355-acre body of water in the Caddo National Grassland.
