The six different Pueblo languages spoken by Pueblo Indians are Hopi, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa and Zuni. There are 21 Pueblo tribes recognized in America, and each tribe speaks only one of the Pueblo languages.
Of the different tribes, seven tribes speak Keres, six tribes speak Tewa, five tribes speak Tiwa, one tribe speaks Hopi, one tribe speaks Towa and one tribe speaks Zuni. In modern times, the Pueblo people also speak English and some speak Spanish.
Pueblo Indians live mostly in New Mexico. One tribe lives in Arizona, and another tribe lives in Texas. Most of the tribes still follow the traditions of their ancestors.
