What is the largest cell?

The largest cell is an ostrich egg. An ostrich egg weighs from 3 1/2 to 5 pounds and is about 6 inches long and 5 inches wide. The shell is white and glossy.
Despite the large size of the egg, the ostrich egg is the smallest one laid in relation to the size of the bird. A female ostrich can be well over 6 feet tall and weigh 220 pounds. In some ostrich communities, the eggs of several females are laid in a communal nest. The father incubates them during the night, and the alpha female incubates them during the day.
