By Forinfos - 10/04/2025 - 0 comments
The middle of the Caribbean Sea is located at an approximate latitude of 15 degrees north and a longitude of 75 degrees west. Like the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea is an arm of the Atlantic Ocean.
The boundaries of the Caribbean Sea include Cuba, Hispanola and Puerto Rico to the north; the Yucatan Peninsula and Central America to the west; Colombia and Venezuela to the south; and the islands of the Lesser Antilles to the east. Because the Caribbean lies south of the Tropic of Cancer, the weather stays warm all year long. Major industries in the Caribbean include tourism, agriculture and fishing.
