Is it legal to use back doors for Pogo games?

In its terms of service, Electronic Arts, the company behind the Pogo gaming website, forbids players from hacking, cracking, phishing and the use of exploits or cheats. Abusing bugs and unintended features or design errors, such as a back door, are also forbidden, according to Electronic Arts.

A back door is a hidden feature in a program designed to allow people who know of its existence to bypass security features and gain elevated access to certain parts of the program, explains TechTarget. Some back doors are created by developers; however, others are added by crackers who exploit vulnerabilities in applications after they are released.
