Is it legal to use the "Call of Duty" prestige hack?

It is legal to use prestige hacks for "Call of Duty" games. However, using, developing, hosting, or distributing automation software (bots), modified lobbies, hacks, modifications or any other unauthorized third-party software in connection with any "Call of Duty" game is against Activision's terms of use.

The first time you log into a "Call of Duty" game, you agree to accept those terms of use. If you break those terms of use, you run the risk of being banned from the game by Activision. The duration of such a ban is entirely at the discretion of Activision, and you have no recourse against them if the company decides to ban you.
