At what level does Torchic evolve?

Torchic evolves into a Combusken at level 16. After it evolves into a Combusken, it can evolve into a Blaziken at level 36. Once it evolves, Torchic becomes a fighting-type Pokémon in addition to being a fire type.

Torchic gains levels as it gains experience points through battle. When the player first receives a Torchic, it is at level 5. It has the abilities Blaze or Speed Boost. Torchic starts with the moves Growl and Scratch. It learns its first fire-type move, Ember, at level 10. The Pokémon is available as a starter in Generation 3 games "Ruby" and "Sapphire."
