Are LG freezerless refrigerators energy efficient?

No freezerless refrigerators manufactured by LG earned the Energy Star label as of 2015, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. More than 60 LG refrigerator products earned the Energy Star label.

The U.S. Department of Energy awards products with an Energy Star label for their energy efficiency based on an evaluation process developed by the government agency. Freezerless refrigerators generally have a single door and take up less space while storing fresh foods and drinks. Other brands of freezerless refrigerators earned the Energy Star label in 2014. They include a variety of GE, Sub-Zero, Thermador,Gallery, Bosch, Danby, Gaggenau and Liebherr freezerless refrigerators.
