Why does life exist on earth?

Life exists on Earth because of many different factors. Scientists have varying opinions, but do agree on a few key important requirements necessary for life to exist on Earth, such as the presence of water and the fact that Earth occupies a habitable zone around the sun.
Important chemicals required for life, such as DNA and proteins, need a solution, such as water, to dissolve and form important chemical reactions that support simple to more complex forms of life. Furthermore, the Earth orbits an ideal distance from the sun that is conducive to life by allowing the process of photosynthesis for plants to thrive, and in turn support indirect energy for animals.
