When are lines laid for a Natural Gas well?

Pipelines for transportation of natural gas from the well to storage facilities are usually laid in the final stages of pipeline construction. Before the construction can start, however, the construction company has to obtain permits according to local regulations and design the construction site.
Construction then begins with preparation of the site, which includes erosion control, vegetation clearing and construction fencing. Process continues with transportation and stringing of pipes and excavation of ditches to the required depth. Stringed pipes are then welded and coated before finally being lowered and laid. Construction is completed with backfilling of ditches and restoration of the terrain.
