What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid face lift is a cosmetic procedure that uses dermal fillers injected under the skin to lift and enhance the contours of the face for a more youthful appearance. This nonsurgical procedure gives a rested appearance and diminishes the look of wrinkles, according to the Liquid Face Lift Association.

A liquid face lift can be combined with other anti-aging treatments such as BOTOX or Dysport for more dramatic and long-lasting results. The dermal fillers used in a liquid face lift are made of mostly natural substances that are already found in the body. Depending on the type of dermal filler used, liquid face lifts last anywhere from one to two years, notes the Liquid Face Lift Association.
