Who is Lisa Beamer?

Lisa Beamer is the wife of Todd Beamer, a passenger killed in the United 93 airplane crash on Sept. 11, 2001. Lisa Beamer was pregnant when the attacks occurred.

Lisa gave birth to a daughter in January 2002 and went on to publish a book entitled "Let's Roll!: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage."

Todd Beamer was one the passengers on the United 93 flight who fought back against the planes hijacker, causing the plane to crash land in a rural Pennsylvania field instead of the target destination of Washington, D.C.

Lisa founded Heroic Choices, an organization that assists children who lost parents in the September 11 attacks.
