How do you locate the IAT sensor plug on a vehicle?

To locate the IAT sensor plug on a vehicle, open the hood of the car, and examine the air filter housing. The air temperature sensor is a small black plug connected to either the air filter housing or the attached air intake tube.

Usually, the air intake sensor is attached to the air filter housing and is the only plug with wires on the structure. To locate the air filter, look on either side of the engine for a square box with a round plastic tube coming out of it. The tube is the air intake tube, and if the air intake sensor is not attached to the air filter housing, it is attached to this tube.
