To locate a Progressive Insurance policy number, look at the upper right-hand corner of a policy document, billing statement or other official correspondence, informs the company's website. A customer's Progressive Insurance ID card also contains the policy number.

Customers who need to register for an online account with Progressive Insurance or who need to reset their password must enter their policy numbers or driver's license number.
