How long does it take to bake tilapia?

Tilapia takes about 15 minutes to bake. The fish takes around 5 minutes to prepare and can be seasoned with ingredients like salt, paprika and fresh herbs.

To prepare the tilapia, mix butter and herbs, and allow the butter mixture to melt. Brush the seasoning onto the tilapia fillets. The pan the tilapia has been cooked in can be coated with the butter mixture as well. Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and bake the fish until it flakes when cut with a fork. Lemon can also be used to season tilapia. The fish can be served with vegetables for a complete meal.
