How long has Kenny Vance been touring?

Kenny Vance has been touring with the Planotones since 1992. However, his music career started well before that; he opened for such acts as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones as a member of Jay and the Americans.

Prior to forming Jay and the Americans, Vance was a part of the Harbor-Lites and recorded his first song in 1959. Jay and the Americans started in 1961. Vance has produced 15 albums and continued touring until 2014. As of 2015, Kenny Vance and the Planotones are not on tour, and the band's shows have been postponed until further notice. Vance is still producing music and completing interviews, according to his website schedule.
