How long do mini pumkins last?

An uncut pumpkin will last between 2 to 3 months on a kitchen counter and between 3 to 5 months if refrigerated. Pumpkins can also be stored in a cool and dry pantry. When cut into pieces, a pumpkin's shelf life is different.

For example, fresh cut pumpkin will last 2 to 3 days in the refrigerator and up to 8 months in the freezer. If it is a carved pumpkin, it can last up to 8 days in good shape before it begins to deteriorate. To extend a carved pumpkin's life, remove the pulp and seeds from its interior, and spray a bleach and water mixture onto the entire surface. After using the bleach spray to prevent rotting problems, the pumpkin can be rubbed with petroleum jelly.
