How long do Trane air conditioners usually stay under warranty?

Trane air conditioners are covered under limited warranty for 10 to 12 years, depending on the model. Products must be registered within 60 days of installation to be covered by the warranty. If the product is not registered within this period, the Trane basic limited warranty applies.

The 10-year Trane warranty covers the outdoor coil, the compressor and the internal functional parts of the air conditioner. For selected models, the compressor is covered by a 12-year warranty. Exclusions to the limited warranty may apply. Extended warranties are available to cover parts or labor for repairs not covered under the limited warranty.
