How do you look up a Department of Defense Activity Address Code?

As of March 2015, information about a Department of Defense Activity Address Code, or DoDAAC, can be looked up on the Defense Logistics Agency public access site if the code is known; people who have a System Access Request can look it up on the eDAASINQ search site. The DoDAAC is a six-digit alphanumeric code that is used to identify an activity, unit or organization.
The DoDAAC can be comprised of any available characters, except the letters "I" and "O." If the code begins with a letter, it belongs to a Department of Defense activity or contractor. If it begins with a number, the code belongs to a civil agency.
