The show "Granite Flats" begins with Beth Milligan and her 12-year-old son Arthur. "Granite Falls" quickly grows to follow the life and times of several characters as they live through the Cold War.

The show is set within a small Colorado town where several strange circumstances occur. Beth Milligan moves to Granite Falls with her son after her husband is killed in an Air Force incident. Though it seems like an ordinary town at first, there is clearly something strange going on. The show has been advertised as family-friendly, and it features plenty of action for both children and parents to enjoy.
