Columbus is Ohio's largest city and is also the state capital. Cincinnati and Cleveland are also major cities in Ohio. All three cities have thriving economies.

Columbus has a population of over 800,000 and is the 15th largest city in the United States. It is named for Christopher Columbus. It is considered a top city for business and is the location for the corporate headquarters of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Wendy's and White Castle.

Cincinnati is located on the Ohio River and has a population of over 290,000. Corporations based there include Kroger, Macy's and Proctor & Gamble. Cincinnati is also the home of a Major League Baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds, and a National Football League team, the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cleveland is located on the southern shore of Lake Erie and has a population of over 390,000. It is the home of various companies, including KeyCorp and the Sherwin-Williams Company. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located there and is a major tourist attraction. Its sports teams include the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association and the Cleveland Indians, a Major League Baseball team. NASA's John H. Glenn Research Center is also based there.
