How do you make a Discover card payment?

Customers can make payments on their Discover card accounts online, by phone, by mail, at Western Union, at participating Sears stores or via a direct payment taken out of their bank account. When paying by mail, customers should mail their check at least seven days in advance.

Customers can pay their Discover card bill online for free, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payments made by phone are credited the same day if paid by 5 p.m. Eastern Standard time. If paying by Western Union, customers see a credit on their account within 24 hours after payment is received.
