How do you make mother's milk tea?

Mother's milk tea is a traditional European herbal preparation that has been used over the centuries by women to increase milk supply when nursing. Ingredients and amounts vary widely, but all of the teas are consumed in order to enhance lactation. Always check with a doctor before consuming any traditional or prescription medications while nursing.
Gather the ingredients
For this preparation, you need 1/2 cup each of both nettle leaf and red raspberry leaf. You also need 1/4 cup each of dried alfalfa leaf, dried dandelion leaf and dried blessed thistle. You also need 1/4 cup of your choice of any of the following types of seeds: fennel, anise, cumin, coriander, caraway or dill. Fennel, anise and coriander together add sweetness to the tea. Fenugreek is a seed used in Traditional Medicinals brand of Mother's Milk tea.
Combine the ingredients
Thoroughly combine the ingredients, and store them in a tightly covered container. This recipe makes about a quart of dried herbs. The recipe can be cut in half.
Brew the tea
Bring water to a boil. Add about 1 tablespoon of the herb mixture per cup of boiling water. Allow the mother's milk tea to steep covered for 15 minutes before drinking.
