To make a printable exercise chart, use a word processing or spreadsheet program to create the chart. Schedule your workouts on the chart around when you have time and state what your exercise goals are. Print the chart.
- Create the basis for the chart
Open up a word processing or spreadsheet program, like Microsoft Word or Excel, on your computer. You can either use a calendar template or make a table of your own. On the spreadsheet, type in the headings you want, such as "date," "time," "exercise," "day of the week," "completed," "distance" or anything you'd like to track.
- Schedule your exercises
Consult your calendar to determine when you have free time, and schedule your exercises then. Input those times into your chart with the exercise you plan to do. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend getting at least 150 minutes of cardiovascular exercise a week and more than that to achieve weight loss. It can be helpful to break up the exercises into smaller blocks to make them more manageable.
- Print the calendar
After you have input all the information you need, print the exercise chart out. Hang it somewhere in your home, and mark what you've done to track your exercise history.
