How do you make a speaker out of a plastic cup?

You can make a speaker out of plastic cups by cutting a hole in an empty paper towel roll, and then cutting a hole the size of the roll's circumference in the side of two plastic cups. Attach the roll in between the two cups to complete the speaker.

1. Cut a hole in an empty paper towel roll

   Cut a hole the size and shape of the base of the phone or music device horizontally along the side of the paper towel roll.

2. Cut a hole in the side of two plastic cups

   Cut one hole in the side of each plastic cup. Each hole should be the same circumference as the empty paper towel roll.

3. Assemble the pieces

   Attach the plastic cups to either end of the paper towel roll.

4. Place the phone into the speaker

   Put the music player into the hole in the paper towel roll and play your music.
