How do you take scratches out of plastic?

To take scratches out of plastic, sand the surface with a damp sandpaper, and wipe off the residue with a damp cloth. Dry the surface, and rub it with metal polish to restore the shine.

1. Sand the surface

   Dampen the sandpaper with water, and use medium pressure to sand the scratched surface in a circular motion. Add moisture to the paper as needed, and rub until the scratches disappear.

2. Clean the surface

   Dampen a cloth, and use it to wipe off the residue generated from sanding. Wipe again, but with a dry cloth.

3. Apply polish

   To restore a shiny surface, put a little metal polish on a dry cloth, and use it to rub the surface gently in a circular motion.
