Combine the Swedish meatball seasoning in a bowl with 1/3 cup of water. Mix in the ground beef and form the mixture into meatballs that are 1 1/2 inch in diameter.
Warm the skillet over medium heat with about 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, pop the prepared meatballs into the skillet. Turn the meatballs frequently while cooking them for 8 minutes. When finished, set the meatballs aside and drain the fat from the pan.
Pour 2 cups of milk into the skillet, along with the sauce mix from the packet. Stir it to dissolve the mix into the milk. Keep the skillet on medium heat until the sauce comes to a boil. Turn the heat down until the sauce returns to a simmer and leave it there until the sauce reaches a desired thickness. Put the meatballs in the sauce, warm them back up and pour over a bed of pasta.
