Where are male hormones produced?

Male and female hormones are produced in the pituitary gland. Although male and female hormones are produced in the same place, the ways in which they are used by the body are very different.
Puberty starts in males between the ages of 12 and 15. The pituitary gland produces FSH and LH, which kick-starts the production of the sex hormones.
When sex hormone production begins in the testes, males will experience several bodily changes during the course of a few years. The voice gets deeper, the genitals grow and develop, sperm is produced and hair grows on the face and body.
