Malta is a nonalcoholic soft drink made from hops and barley. Produced by Goya, it is offered in regular and light versions. Regular Malta also contains water, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, caramel color and phosphoric acid.
Malta is packaged in several volume options, such as individual 12 ounce bottles and six packs. It is also a Kosher product. One 12-ounce serving of regular Malta has 230 calories. It has no fat, 1 gram of protein and 56 grams of carbohydrates. This beverage has 80 grams of sodium and 41 grams of sugar. Twelve ounces of Malta provides almost 20 percent of the recommended daily value for carbohydrates.
